You can save through USDT which does not have so much fluctuations like most other cryptocurrencies. You could also use Binance Auto invest plan to save as it comes with really good interest rates.
As for other saving apps, most that I know of are only available for my country Kenya. That includes Branch which started as a loan app and now they have added a savings plan that has really good interest rates.
